At Royal Frenchies Kennel, the welfare of our puppies is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring every puppy finds a loving, permanent home. This policy outlines our terms regarding deposits, refunds, and returns. Please read carefully before making a reservation.

1. Deposit Policy

A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your puppy. Contact us for specific deposit details.

The reservation deposit serves to:

  • Secure your chosen puppy and remove them from availability
  • Cover administrative costs associated with the reservation
  • Demonstrate your commitment to providing a loving home

Important: The deposit is non-refundable under normal circumstances. However, it may be transferred to another available puppy within 60 days if your original selection becomes unavailable for reasons beyond your control.

2. Refund Conditions

Full or partial refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Puppy Unavailability: If your reserved puppy becomes unavailable due to health issues or unforeseen circumstances on our end, you may receive a full refund or transfer your deposit to another puppy.
  • Health Issues at Delivery: If a puppy is found to have a serious undisclosed health condition upon arrival, refunds will be handled according to our Health Guarantee policy.
  • Shipping Issues: In the rare event of shipping complications caused by our carriers, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.

3. Health-Related Returns

Our return policy for health-related issues is directly tied to our Health Guarantee. Key points include:

  • A veterinary examination within 72 hours of receipt is required to validate the health guarantee
  • Genetic or congenital defects diagnosed within one year may qualify for replacement or partial refund
  • All health claims must be documented by a licensed veterinarian
  • We reserve the right to request a second veterinary opinion

4. Buyer's Remorse Policy

No Refunds for Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for buyer's remorse or change of circumstances. Adopting a puppy is a serious commitment, and we encourage all potential buyers to carefully consider their decision before making a reservation.

Situations not covered include changes in living situation, lifestyle changes, allergies discovered after purchase, or simply deciding you no longer want the puppy.

5. Re-Homing Situations

We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly. If you find yourself unable to care for your puppy:

  • Contact Us First: Please reach out to us before surrendering your puppy to a shelter or rehoming independently
  • Assistance Available: We may be able to assist in finding a suitable new home for your puppy
  • No Refund: Re-homing assistance does not include any refund of purchase price
  • Return Option: In some cases, we may accept the puppy back into our care to ensure proper placement

  • Ensuring all puppies go to loving, responsible homes
  • Providing lifetime support and guidance to all adopters
  • Never allowing our puppies to end up in shelters or unsuitable situations

7. Process for Returns

If you believe you qualify for a return or refund under this policy:

  2. Provide documentation of the issue (veterinary records, photos, etc.)
  3. Allow time for our team to review your claim
  4. We will respond with our determination and next steps within 48 hours
